#2/#11 Tree Work

We are in the cleanup stages from the three trees we removed earlier this week.  They are Locust Trees that were located on the back right of #2 tee and one left of #11 tee along the path.  Also completed in the past few weeks is up the left side of #8 where we removed four trees and pruned back the overhanging branches.  This will allow us to kick #8 fairway to the left and help direct the tee shots away from #9 tee.  The last of the major removal will be two trees on the back right of #14 green.  Those will be removed in the coming weeks (weather dependent).

Tee Markers: Refurbish

During the Winter months, we spend the majority of our inside time repairing/refurbishing our course amenities.  Above, you see Austen hand piping the FCO logo with gold paint.  This is a VERY time consuming task, but looks great when completed.  Over the past two years, we've overhauled all of our course amenities and gone away from the plastic generic look to hand made custom FCO items.  This gives the club a custom feel and everything blends in with the natural surroundings.

Employee Holiday Party

Special thanks to GM Chris Bancroft for planning and executing a great party for the staff at FCO.  This was a well deserved break from the everyday work environment and an opportunity to go out and have a good time with the great team we've put together.  Fun was had by all who attended (30+) and the batteries are currently recharging for the upcoming season.

Thanks again, Chris!
